Silk Route Ceylon Merchants (PVT) LTD (SRCM) were the proud recipients of two Bronze awards at the recently concluded National Chamber of Exporters ( NCE ) awards ceremony. The tropies, certificates and medals were presented by Hon.Harsha De SIlva , Deputy Minister of Policy Planning and Economic Development to Mr.Vidura Gunaratne, Chairman of SRCM in which , the Honourable Prime Minister, Ranil Wickramasinghe was the Chief Guest.
The awards were conferred for the Bulk Tea category and Value Added category. Within a short span of two year SRCM has made a significant impact in the exporting annals of Sri Lanka and the National Awards lays claim to that fact.
The prestigious awards ceremony which recognizes the most influential exporters of the country celebrated its silver jubilee this year amidst a gathering of distinguished guests at the gala event held on the 29th of September at the Hilton Colombo.
